CONSTRUCTION AND EXECUTIVE DESIGN OF A FRAME STEEL 4-STOREY CONSTRUCTION WITH A GYMNASTIC HALL OF A MODULAR SKAPASKOLAN SCHOOL BUILDING IN SWEDEN, APPROX. 5300 M²
The didactic building of the school is rectangular in plan of 3-storey high with a technical attic. The facility is functionally connected with a gym of variable width, above which there is a green roof, functionally used as a playground for children. In addition, the entire complex was built on a plot with a significant decline, which made the design and construction process difficult, for example due to the need to use a retaining wall. Static and strength calculations as well as construction and workshop documentation of the steel structure of the facility consisting of modules prefabricated in Poland were carried out. The strength analysis of individual modules was carried out for assembly, transport and operating conditions. The school building is a passive structure with a heat transfer coefficient of U <0.08 W/m2 x K, which was confirmed by tests with a thermal imaging camera.
